About me
Chris Perry has a diverse background in K-12 education, with 20 years experience as a paraprofessional, special education teacher, behavior specialist, administrative intern, state trainer with KSDE TASN, consultant, research and author. Chris co-founded Cultivate Education, LLC. in 2016 on the mission to help schools “Better Implement Best Practices”, and currently serves as the Executive Director providing professional development and coaching support to improve initiative implementation in school districts across the country. The 2024-25 school year was a big one for Chris, as he published his first book The Inclusive Classroom Framework and was selected as the Keynote speaker at KSDE’s 2024 Annual Conference in Wichita.
A bit closer to home, Chris recently concluded his term (2017-26) on the USD #348 Baldwin City School District and East Central Kansas Cooperative in Education school boards, where he served various roles including President and Vice President of both organizations. Chris continues to support his local school district by serving on several school site councils for his three children, as well as participating on a state-level committee for improving teacher recruitment and retention.
